For the first time ever I got a chance to record an entire piece of music in a professional studio manner with my teacher, educator and dear friend Vincenzo Maurogiovanni. Here's "Rule of Thumb" by the great John Scofield from the album "Still Warm" (Gramavision Records, prod. Steve Swallow, 1986). We basically re-arranged the entire piece by splitting it in tiny modular sections in order to have the entire song reduce to radio-like formats with 2 solo chorus per instrument. I personally recor
