L. Farrenc "Mouvement de valse" from Etudes faciles pour piano op.50 (

My performance of "Mouvement de Valse" by Louise Farrenc (1804-1875) included in the ABRSM Grade 4 booklet (A:2) for the years 2023 & 2024. Louise Farrenc, a celebrated French pianist and composer of numerous piano and chamber music pieces, was a professor of piano at the Paris Conservatoire for over three decades. Her works often embody grace and precision, and this piece is no exception. Farrenc herself advised that "one should play it in a light and graceful manner."
